Description
A photograph of Nienstedt Island in the Manasquan veiwed through the Mimosas.
From the Artist: The delicate silk strands of a mimosa tree at sunset. Beautiful but invasive. The Manasquan river is seen in the background with the island of three names visible. The islands three names are: ‘Osborne Island’ , ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘Nienstedt Island’. It was Robert Luis Stevenson him self that called it Treasure Island and that’s the name I was taught as a girl.
